In this policy I explain what personal data I process when you visit mariof.es, write to me or contract my services, what I use them for and what rights you have. EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights (LOPDGDD) apply.

2. What data I process and why
- Contact: If you write to me by email, WhatsApp or through a web form, I process your name, email, phone number and what you tell me in order to respond to you and, if applicable, send you a quote.
- Clients: If you hire me, I process your identification, contact and billing data to provide the service, issue quotes and invoices, and fulfill my tax and accounting obligations. If you have access to the client area, I also process your access data.
- Plugin downloads: If you request the download of one of my plugins, I process your email to send you the download link.
- Store and payments: If you purchase a product or service on the website, I process the necessary data to manage the order. Card payments are processed by Stripe; I do not see or store your complete card details.
- Statistics: I use StatCounter to know in aggregate form how many visits the website receives and which pages are viewed.
3. Legal basis
- Your consent, when you write to me, request information from me or download a plugin, and for statistics cookies.
- The execution of a contract or pre-contractual measures, when you request a quote or hire a service.
- Compliance with legal obligations, for invoicing and accounting.
4. How long I keep your data
- Inquiries that do not result in a project: up to one year after the last contact.
- Clients: as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, the time required by law (in general, up to six years for accounting and tax documentation).
- Plugin downloads: until you ask me to delete them.
5. Who your data is shared with
I do not sell or transfer your data. Only the providers I need for the website and my services to function have access to it, always with the guarantees required by the GDPR:
- Web hosting, with servers in the European Union.
- StatCounter (visit statistics).
- Stripe (card payments in the store).
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact me via WhatsApp.
- Google Fonts, which serves the website fonts.
- Tax administration and tax advisory, when required by law.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). In those cases they do so under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
You can ask me at any time for access to your data, their rectification o deletion, the limitation u objection to its processing and its portability, as well as withdraw the consent you have given me. Write to me at mario@mariof.es indicating which right you want to exercise.
If you believe I have not handled your data properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Authority.
7. Cookies
The website uses technical cookies necessary for its operation (for example, the store cart, customer area login or cache) and StatCounter statistics cookies. You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings; if you block technical cookies, some parts of the website may not work.
8. Security
I apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), protected access and backups. Invoices and quotes are only accessible through a private link.
9. Minors
My services are not directed at minors under 14 years old and I do not knowingly process their data.
10. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy to adapt it to legal changes or changes to my services. The date of the last update appears at the beginning.
